Tyler was instrumental in negotiating with the builder and myself for a price reduction and a very large closing cost credit. He was able to be with the builder in my place for re-inspection and review for discrepancies in my new home. At the time I was living in another state and could not be present. He is knowledgeable and gave recommendations and consultations pursuing forward on my house transaction and interacting with many people on my behalf. If I move again, I will certainly ask Tyler to represent me as my realtor. I have moved a few times before and always hired a new realtor, but Tyler is an exception.

Tyler Johnson was our realtor in our relocation from Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri to Meridian, Idaho. He had a tough job to do because our house in Missouri was sold and we had a month to find our new place. We flew to Boise on the 21st of December and Tyler met us at our hotel on the morning of the 22nd ready to drive us to see the homes we had preselected from groupings that Tyler mailed to us. He showed us only the homes that were in our target area and price range which was so helpful. What we didn't realize was how far apart our homes were but he was willing to show us all 7 homes. We saved the home bordering on a golf course for last because we thought at the time it was what we wanted. Tyler had to fill our a lengthy form to show the house which he willingly complied with. On visiting the homes we realized this was not at all what we were looking for. We did have one home that we both liked more than any of the other homes. Tyler agreed to meet us on the morning of December 23rd when everyone else had started their Christmas break. We decided on the house on Jameson and Tyler agreed to write up the offer even though the time was afternoon. By evening Tyler had called us that the builder had accepted our offer and wished us a Merry Christmas.
Soon after that we returned to Missouri but we continued to be informed by Tyler every step of inspection, closing with the title company, forms to sign ahead of closing which helped us so much. On our arrival back to Boise area Tyler met with us with the keys and information about our HOA. The day our moving van arrived there was Tyler again with a basket of Idaho products for us to enjoy.
As you can see, our realtor made our relocation much easier and most pleasant. Thank-you Tyler.

Tyler worked really hard for us, and went way above and beyond what a "normal" realtor would do. Before our house would Tyler did some of the maintenance things that needed to be done before we closed! He stayed in constant contact with us the whole way through, there was never an email, text, or phone call that went unanswered! I liked working with Tyler because he was a woodworker in a previous life and that has translated over well in his real estate practice. Tyler was able to key in on the guts of a house, the expensive things that a lot of people may at first glance just brush over. Because of this I think that we ended up with a house that was a really great value. Tyler is very familiar with Boise and the price range we were looking for, has great contacts in the industry, was patient with us in our evolving criteria in looking for and finding a place, and once we found a place Tyler worked with the seller to address every concern we initially had after the inspection. Tyler is extremely knowledgeable of the industry. He walked us through the process at the very beginning so we knew exactly what to expect, which is SO comforting as first time home buyers charting unfamiliar territory. He was very quick to send new listings, so we always had the most current options! He listened to what we were looking for and not only is he respectful of our budget (never tried to sell us on a house we couldn't afford) he was honest about what we could expect to get in our budget (sometimes we dream big, and
needed someone to bring us back to reality a little bit). We ended up in a multi-offer situation on the house we loved and Tyler helped us write the offer that was excepted while still not over paying for the house. He was with us every step of the way through the closing process and even offered to go over and mow the lawn for us before we moved in since it hadn't been done since we submitted the offer! Even after closing was done, and papers were signed, he was still checking in to see how the moving was going and if we were happy with everything. From start to finish, Tyler was an absolute asset to our home buying experience. I will definitely be calling Tyler again with future real estate needs.

Oh my goodness Tyler is hands down the best realtor I've ever worked with!!! As a first-time homebuyer, I was experiencing everything for the first time. Things seemed to be daunting. Once Tyler was on board - thanks to a recommendation - that all went away. We met, sat down, and discussed what I might be looking for, price range, and other options. Tyler went right ahead working on the case. We looked at many homes that were in my range until we found the perfect one. Once we had our sights set on the house, we had an inspection – where there was dismal news. Tyler helped negotiate with the seller and had them fix any problems with the house on their dime. They even installed a garage door, just so they can sell the house to us. After all that, Tyler was there helping finish up paperwork and then the keys were mine. Tyler even came in and installed a door of mine that was off the frame without any hesitation. I will be contacting Tyler if I need any other buying/selling needs.

My husband and I worked with Tyler for a few months before we found our perfect home. He was VERY patient, knowledgeable, and on top of all the new listings that may have fit what we needed. He worked closely with us and our accommodated our time frame we had during the week, sometimes seeing 10+ houses in one day. One thing that really stuck out to me was that we didn't get a sales pitch on every home. He told us the good and the bad of each house and gave us ideas of what we would need to consider if we ended with that home. When we finally found the house we wanted it only took a day from the time we sent the offer in to them accepting. He gave us great insight and tips on what we needed to do and in the end we literally got the home we had been wanting for years.

It has been a year and a half since we bought our home with Tyler, but I do remember that he gave solid advise on offering prices based on how much competition there was for the house we bought. We were able to come in with an offer that was just barely better than the offers that other families made and it got us the home we wanted on the first try. The other thing I really liked about him was that when he was showing us houses, he let us explore the houses and come to our own conclusions instead of trying to tell us how it is. If a question was necessary he was able to explain well.

My husband and I were first time home buyers when we met Tyler. He showed us every house we asked to see, and suggested some nice houses within our price range that we never would have found without him. He was always prompt and prepared, very professional and friendly. I noticed when he communicated with home owners and other realtors he was very courteous. During our purchase process, he answered all of our questions patiently and thoroughly. I never felt like I was bothering him, even with the constant questions, and it always seemed like he had plenty of time for us. If he couldn't answer a question immediately, he would find the answer and get back to us quickly.
